Yes. You can actually watch movies with the iPod. As I said, it has turned into a whole multimedia center. It has the ability to hold up to 10 hours of video. You can watch blockbuster movies, independent films, or even T.V. shows. The only downfall of watching a movie on it is that the screen is only 3.5 in. wide. That's not how I like to watch movies but it can come in handy on long flights.

If there is a signal you can surf the web with Amazon's iPod.

It even has the ability to download Kindle books so you can read them.

This is actually a really cool feature because if you have both the iPod Touch and the Kindle Amazon will actually make them in sink with each other so you never have to find the spot you left off at.

Procedure To Convert MP3 Files Into CD Format

Mp3 files are created when high quality wav files are compressed and converted to data files. The MP3 files have some very good advantages to them such as, small size and portability. One single CD ROM can accommodate over a hundred MP3 files. The best part is that the music quality remains as good as the wav files. Although there are so many advantages to MP3 files, you may at times want to convert your MP3 files into CD format files, courtesy your CD player does not play MP3 format. Most people do the conversion as many car CD players do not play the MP3 format files.

MP3 files are actually the data files that can easily be played on a PC, or any other player that can identify the MP3 format. To convert the MP3 format into wave format, you would need decoding software. The decoding software is capable of converting the compressed files back to the wav files.

If you are lucky to have a CD writer installed on your PC, you may find it extremely easy to convert MP3 into CD. You need to look out for a utility that came wit your CD writer, capable of burning CD. In case you can not find the utility, you could browse through the CD that came with your writer and install it. Different utilities would have their own user interface. However, the following steps would help you convert MP3 into CD on most utilities.

The utility gives you quite a few options to start with. The options could include data, audio, photo and video, backup, favorites, and extras. Amongst all the options that are provided, you need to look for the one that says "Audio?, "burn a music CD?, or something similar to it. Clicking on this option would open up another window that has an empty panel to add the files. To add the files, you need to look for an "add? button or the one that sounds similar to it. Once you click on this button, you will be able to browse the MP3 files that you want to convert. Adding the files into the blank panel would automatically convert them into wav file. Also, as and when the files are added, an indicator would let you know about the remaining space left in the CD. The indicator could be a progress bar or something else.

You may click the "Next? button available on the window. This will open up another window that prompts you for some more detail, such as the CD title and artist name. Once you have filled up the details you can click on the "Burn? or "Next? option given to you. This will initiate the burn process. It could take a few minutes for the burn process to complete. Once the burn process is completed, the utility will come up with an alert box to let you know the same.

With the above sequence of steps, you can convert the MP3 files into CD format. If you do not have a CD writer or the required software, you may download and install a decoder from the internet. The decoding software you install would also function more or less on the same pattern. - 23815

Transformers 2 -Characters

"Transformers 2" is the continuation of the movie "Transformers" which was released two years back in 2007. This is a science fiction movie, directed by Michael Bay and executively produced by Steven Spielberg. The movie is due to release in UK and USA this summer in June 2009, with great expectations, that it will break all previous records and will be a Mega Movie of the year 2009.

The movie shows a war between the Autobots and the Decepticons who came to earth to settle their dispute. Their visit to earth is just to save their planet from destruction because of this battle. The movie's main character is Shia LaBeouf who plays Sam Witwicky. He is a teenager who killed Megatron in the first movie.

Sam is trying to live a normal life. People know him as world saviour, but he wants to get over this status. His parents also overprotect him and Bumblebee wants the outlet. He decides to learn astronomy and joins East Coast College. Unfortunately, with all his efforts to forget his past, he starts having mental flashes about Cybertronian symbols and get to know useful information about 'Energon' for which the Decepticons are after him.

Megan Fox is also a central character who plays Mikaela Banes, Sam's girlfriend. She could not afford to attend college and instead she gets a job at motorbike repair shop. Josh Duhamel is playing role of a US Army Ranger, Captain William Lnnox. William is a friend of the Autobots in the film. Promoted to the rank of master Sergeant, Tyrese Gibson is playing part of Robert Epps who is a US Air Force Combat Controller.

John Turturro is playing role of Reggie Simmons. He was formerly an agent of Sector 7 unit and was keeping an eye on Transformers' activity on earth. In this movie, he is working in his mother's deli restaurant. Matteh Marsden plays Graham's role. Graham is an associate of the United Kingdom Special Forces. Ramon Rodriguez who is a roommate of Sam performs Leo Spitz's role. He has his website on the conspiracy theories and takes Sam and Mikaela all the way to Egypt. Ron and Kevin Dunn and Jule White play Judy Witwicky: Sam's parents. They have learned a lot of things regarding Transformers by staying off-screen. John Benjamin plays the role of NSA Advisor Galloway and Glenn Morshower plays Gen. Morshower in the movie.

The above given names are human characters of the film. There are large number characters in shape of Autobots and Decepticons. Some voices behind these characters are of Peter Cullen, Hugo Weaving, Mark Ryan, Charlie Adler, Frank Welker and Tom Kenny. Optimus Prime, the head of the Autobots, is articulated by Peter Cullen. Mark Ryan voices Bumblebee, who becomes Sam friend.

He appeared in the previous movie as fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro. Having the ability to be transformed to GMC Topkick, Ironhide is uttered by jess Harnell, the expert in weapons for Autobots. A few names of Decepticons are Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave who have got voices of Hugo Weaving, Chalier Adler and Frank Welker respectively. The Mp3 Bitrates Your Should Use

Anyone that listens to music and has some knowledge on how to download music off the Internet, or how to rip music off a CD, or even knows how to burn a CD has probably heard of the term Mp3. However, many people out there don't quite know what an Mp3 exactly is. If you are one of those people, then its safe to say that you don't know what a bitrate is either.

If you happen to be unaware of that an Mp3 is, then don't fear because you will learn exactly what an Mp3 is, what a bitrate is and more. Once you have completely read though this article, you will be more aware of what Mp3's are and the role the bitrate plays in the quality of an Mp3. To begin, the question must be asked: What exactly is an Mp3? The Mp3 is a highly efficient, patented form of compression.

What that means is that an Mp3 is a compressed version of the original audio file. The reason why audio files are compressed to the Mp3 format is because it lowers the file size of the audio without losing much of the quality. Without compressing audio files, in most cases the file sizes would be massive and unpractical to store. On the opposite end, if you decrease the file size of an audio file too much, the audio quality will be negatively affected.

The Mp3, also known as MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3, is meant to deal with that issue by shrinking the file sizes without negatively affecting the audio quality. Here is where the bitrate comes into play. The bitrate is the number of bits (units of information) that is processed per second. Now I know that sounds somewhat technical, but just look at it like this. The bitrate is the amount of information that the Mp3 player, computer, or other device reads per second.

The more information the device reads per second, the higher the audio quality. But on the other end, the more information per second, the bigger the file size will be. A common bitrate of an Mp3 file is 128 kbit/s. Just in case you aren't aware, the 128 kbit represents the number of kilobytes and the /s means per second. Now consider this example: Imagine you have an Mp3 player with 20 gigabytes of storage and you have 100 Mp3 songs each with a bitrate of 128 kbit/s.

Now imagine that you have another Mp3 player with 20 gigabytes of storage and you have in your Mp3 player 100 Mp3 songs each with a bitrate of 192 kbit/s. You would have less space in the 2nd Mp3 player because the file sizes of the 100 Mp3 songs with the bitrate of 192 kbit/s are bigger.

Bitrate is important because it helps determine the audio quality of the file. Now that you have a basic understanding of what an Mp3 file is and what the bitrate is and why it is important, I would like to share with you my favorite bitrates and why.

To be more specific, my favorite bitrate changes depending on what device I will be playing my Mp3 file on. If Im going to play my Mp3 file on my Mp3 player, then my favorite bitrate to encode at is 192 kbit/s. I prefer that bitrate because it is the same bitrate songs are encoded on CD's (also known as CD quality) and the audio file size generated is relatively small. If I plan to listen to my Mp3 music on my computer, then my favorite mp3 bitrate is 256 kbit/s.

Though the increased bitrate will produce a slightly higher file size, the audio quality would be improved. If I plan to listen to my Mp3 music on my cell phone or a device with a small amount of storage, then the bitrate I would encode my Mp3 files at 128 kbit/s. Now that you know my favorite bitrates, I recommend that you use them because I believe they produce the best combination of audio quality and file size. - 23815

Who Is Going To Win The War In Transformers 2?

The conventional issue of the battle between good and evil continues in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. In the earlier version Transformers 2007, the fight between the two conflicting forces was traditionally won by the good. The Autobots and the Humans are playing the positive part, whereas, the evil embodiments are the Decepticons, in both parts.

The same fight goes on in the sequel; Transformers 2. In this part, the objective to achieve for the Decepticons is slightly different, yet the point is the same that is victory. In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the Decepticons come after Sam Witwicky. The movie is characterised by concentration provoking action scenes appealing the viewers' interest for the complete duration of the film.

The combat scenes create suspense and drama. Every character plays its part to the level of perfection. The film depicts a continuous struggle between the forces of good and evil. The evil forces fight to recapture what they had lost in the previous movie of the Transformers.

In the expedition of good and evil, the Decepticons cause a lot of loss and destruction to the earth, humans and Autobots. The Autobots in the combat with the fierce and violent Decepticons give a good account of themselves. Whereas the Decepticons are eager to go to any extent to have triumph over the Autobots

Sam and his human fellows including his girlfriend Mikaela, Leo Spitz, Sam's roommate, and Captain William Lennox, all fight together against Decepticons. They aid the Autobots, and the Autobots aid them, and together they wage a violent struggle against the evil.

The final battle has been filmed in Egypt, in Giza Pyramid Complex. There the movie shows the pre pyramid period. We can see vehicles as Decepticons which resemble to our nowadays vehicles. The place is marked with the rule of death and awe, 'all our heroes end up there as a consequence of the 'Master Plan' of the Decepticons' is the dominant statement of the setting.

In this part, we observe the revivification of the evil forces. Megatron revives with the help of Constructions, while he was executed in the previous part. This is indicates the fact that the struggle between evil and good is eternal, and it continues in one shape or the other. Both the forces are in constant conflict with each other and destroy one or both.

Megatron wants to acquire the information about the Energon on Earth to become Divine power. In the last part, Sam used Allspark, which was absorbed in Megatron's chest, and killed him. Unfortunately his resurrection proves that he has become more powerful than before due to the Allspark absorbed in his chest.

We also see some shifting of characters; Jetfire transforms into an Autobot, while previously, he was a Decepticon. These restless robots make the best fighting machines and the viewer desires to see more and more of the highly vigorous action. The Scorponok can hide under the sand, but can't transform, acting as another lethal weapon. With all the forces put to work, the result of the fight between good and evil is not hard to recognise. In the end, we see the good Autobots and Humans winning over the evil forces. - 23815
