Since the tender age of 3 Lindsay has been in the spotlight. By now she should have a good understand of what showbiz is all about. Unfortunately for her, she hasn't been able to handle the Hollywood scene.

Lindsay was born in New York and first appeared as a Ford model. She went on to make appearances on over 60 commercials. And in 1996, she made her first real debut on Another World.

Lindsay starred in the Parent Trap in 1998 which was a remake of the old version. In 2003, she starred in another film that really skyrocketed her career and Lindsay made the decision to move to L.A.

It didn't take Lindsay long to pick a fight with Hillary Duff over heartthrob Aaron Carter. Later in 2004, Lindsay got into another feud with the Simpson sisters over Wilmer Valderrama from That 70's Show.

Lindsay began losing weight in the early part of 2005. She later admitted that she had an eating disorder and was bulimic. She then appeared in Mean Girls and took her career to the next level.

Lindsay was in two car crashes in 2005, which was apparently caused by the paparazzi. In 2006 Lindsay was told that she was being unprofessional for showing up to work late a couple of times. While back in New York, Lindsay broke her wrist while clubbing with friends.

Lindsay began attending AA meetings in December of 2006 after much criticism. Apparently this didn't take since she was arrested two times on drunk driving charges. She was sentenced to jail for 1 day, a community service order and an 18 month alcohol education program.

Lindsay has been trying to fly under the radar since then. She is now filming "Labor Pains" which is speculated to have a fairly large release. Her next progress hearing is set for January 2009. - 23815
