Top Action Movies Of All Time - Can You Guess The Movie Quote

By S Flynn

Ever since I can remember I have been a huge fan of action movies, and growing up I still remember sitting down with the rest of the family and watching those classic Arnie, Stallone, Van Dame and Steven Seagal movies. In recent years my enthusiasm for action movies hasn't changed and think that the newer breed of action stars such as Denzel Washinton, Jason Statham, Jet Li and plenty of others have taken action films to a fresh, unique and equally entertaining level.

Below I have collected quotes from a list of great action movies, lets see if you can guess the movie quote and work out what I consider to be the all time best action movies...

1) She says the jungle... it just came alive and took him.

3) William Strannix - The man that did this is a professional. Who is he, and what's he doing running around on my battleship, Mr. Krill? - Commander Krill - Your battleship? You wouldn't be on this battleship if it wasn't for me. He's a cook, plain and simple... - William Strannix - This is not the work of a cook. - Commander Krill - He came on board with the captain. I know his routine, front and back. He's good with cooking knives... - William Strannix - Cooking knives? - Commander Krill - He got lucky. In my professional opinion, he is a military reject in command of a GALLEY!

3) The guy is a used car salesman! This just keeps getting better and better! I'm sorry, Harry, I know this is hard for you. But you gotta admit if this was me you'd be laughing your a-- off!

4) Pai Mei taught you the five point palm-exploding heart technique?

5) Lower your flags and march straight back to England, stopping at every home you pass by to beg forgiveness for a hundred years of theft, rape, and murder. Do that and your men shall live. Do it not, and every one of you will die today.

6) (Doctor) - You broke my arm! - (Mental patient) - There's 215 bones in the human body. That's one.

7) You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In Vietnam his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well (main characters name) was the best.

8) Pop quiz, hotshot. There's a bomb on a bus. Once the bus goes 50 miles an hour, the bomb is armed. If it drops below 50, it blows up. What do you do? What do you do?

9) You picked us. You volunteered. You said that you would do what it takes to save American lives. You're not a liar, are you? Or too weak to see this through? This is it. Let go of David Webb. Will you give yourself to this program.

10) (before main character jumps from roof) I promise I will never even THINK about going up in a tall building again. Oh, God. Please don't let me die (this movie was set in a tall building) - 23815

Here's The Easiest Way To Find New Movie Downloads Online!

By Sam Lockwood

I gotta admit - I'm a huge movie buff. For me there's nothing better than sitting down with some snacks and watching a flick. Lately I've received numerous emails from visitors wondering where they can go to download movies on the net, so I wanted to put together a quick article about this.

There's a great deal of people who now download all the movies they watch. The web has made it so that you don't necessarily need to run out to the video store to pick up the newest movie.

The selection of movie downloads online is incredible. You can pick from far more movies on the net than you ever could in a rental store. Whether it's a golden oldie or a new release, most likely you can find it online.

So where can you find movie downloads?

I want to point out where you shouldn't download movies. You might have seen the file download websites like LimeWire or Kazaa. Please stay away from thse websites! There's so many viruses floating around and it's easy to get flooded with spyware. Also, when you search for movies you often get incomplete files and you end up downloading something completely different than what you wanted.

Another downside is that the downloading speeds are very slow on these websites. You can actually wait over a day for a movie to stop downloading. Obviously it's annoying to have to wait that much time just to find out the file doesn't work!

Another choice is pay-per download movie sites. Here you are charged for each movie you download. Each download is usually in the $10 range. However, there are cheaper choices available so I recommend to pass on these websites.

Your best bet is to join a specialized movie download website. With these sites you are charged a one-time only membership fee (typically $35-$55) and you can then login and download any movie you choose. These sites are committed to movie downloads and have a tremendous selection of movies to select from. It's by far the best option as you can download as many movies as you want and you don't have to concern yourself with slow download speeds or movie files that are faulty.

Using movie downloads is a remarkable way to get your favorite movies without ever needing to go to the movie store. It's cheaper, more convenient and very addictive! - 23815

Perhaps the greatest intrigue that List Of Animes have to offer is its unique art form and style. Using a mix of painted backgrounds and drawn characters, anime brings a foreign medley of artistic doctrines into a singular form of media. With outlandish plot devices and artistic sequences and a fast-paced animation style, anime brings fresh and fun styles to western animation.

Following plot lines that are varied and diverse, anime covers a wide range of topics and genres within itself. In Japan the Shinto religious beliefs have continued through the years and have contributed widely to the strange, often surreal but contemporary settings that many anime series take place in.

Anime dates back into the 1930's when it was little more than black and white animated cinema. It has evolved over the years with assistance and impacts from western animators such as Disney. When Snow White debuted in the 1960's, Japanese animators used it was a springboard for their fledgling industry and by the 1970's anime was seeing a surging growth. The real break for anime came in the 1980's when the animation industry was booming and by 2000, Japan had become a world leader in animation.

Watch Free Paul Blart: Mall Cop

By Russel Moore

Some people long for heroism. For some people, it is thrust upon them. This is the story of the protagonist of Paul Blart: Mall Cop movie. The film is about Paul Blart, the friendly mall cop who is suddenly face to face with a bunch of ruthless robbers. The main character is played by Kevin James of The King of Queens fame. He played the role of Doug Heffernan in that popular sitcom. Paul Blart falls for the lady in the hair extensions shop and Jayma Mays dons that role. He goes all out in order to impress her and make her his ladylove. He however falls flat on his face on his attempts to woo her. He is shown as a depressed man with no direction in his life. The bank robbery comes as a blessing in disguise for his show his caliber and win the heart of his flame.

The plot of the film is interesting enough to make the watcher expect much from the film. The handling of story and screenplay proves to be a dampener with the comical scenes not turning out as expected in Paul Blart: Mall Cop Movie. Timing is very essential to comedies but this film lacks it entirely. There are some scenes which evoke laughter but they are few and far between.

The exhibition of acting by the lead characters is just sufficient though more effort could have been put in to it. The protagonist tries whatever he can to save the movie which is already dangling by a few threads of rib tickling scenes. Jayma Mays hasnt got much to offer but still doesnt ruin things further with a decent enough, if not good performance. The director of the movie Steve Carr does a commendable job with his direction but the script negates all of his good work. Though the main plot proves to be impressive more could have been extracted out of it by the script writers Kevin James and Nick Bakay.

Go for Paul Blart: Mall Cop Movie if you have nothing else to do or if you are a really patient person to sit through the movie, for those hilarious moments its spiced with. The box office performance of the movie was also not very encouraging. Films like these may not be worth watching in a cinema. A Brief Look At Americas Evolving Passion For Movies

By Holman Valdez

Americans love movies and rightly so. The passion we are share in slipping in a DVD or watching a movie online seems to be one of the most enjoyable and relaxing times of our entire day. It is not only a great form of entertainment but a time to enter different worlds of fantasy played out in movie plots.

How deep is this passion? Each year, we spend millions of dollars buying and renting movies, DVD's and entertaining films. However, having access to so many movies has not always been so easy.

When you look back during the Great Depression and throughout the times when we were engaged in world wars, movie entertainment was scarce. Even worse, people did now have money to pay for movie tickets or go to theaters.

It was in the 1920's when sound technology was introduced to movies for the first time. These movies were smashing hits during that time and people seemed to enjoy comedies and classics such as "Gone With The Wind" and movies starring Shirley Temple.

Popular films that depicted the rise of the mob in the U.S. such as gangster movies seemed to gender great interest amongst the working class men and young teenage boys. A favorite amongst women seemed to be musicals and plays staring well known actors of that time.

Even though movies were the best form of entertainment during those times, it did cost money for a ticket and that was a scarcity, especially during the Great Depression. As an alternative to going to the local theater, people resorted to listening to their favorite radio stories such as and very often the entire family would huddle around the radio in dead silence as stories were told.

Instead of watching a movie, people could listen to popular movie stars and invited guests as they told stories of romance, adventure and mystery. Entire families would huddle around one small radio and would listen with great intent to the popular movie stars of that era.

Another big hit during the 1920's was swing music performances put on by Big Bands. Since most of these performances were aired over the radio, it became a popular source of entertainment during the long evening hours.

The economic woes during those times may have made life unnecessarily hard, but people seemed to find a way to keep themselves entertained. This is how they had fun and is a testament to their sense of determination to move forward while hoping for better days.

Looking back we have come a long way with movie entertainment. The Internet and advanced technology has taken the movie watching experience to an unlimited level. Not only do we have special cinema and sound effects to include 3D viewing, but entertaining movies have become a common source of entertainment for everyone. - 23815
