The Fight For the Holy Grail Has Begun! Fate Stay Night Will Soon Be Available on DVD
A lot of people enjoy anime but for some it can be a real bore. However, there are some anime TV series' that are suitable for everyone (within reason) and that has to be said about Fate Stay Night. It's about to be released on DVD - only the first four episodes - and it's likely to be a huge success with young and old. However, there are a few things you should know before you buy the DVD. MVM are releasing the DVD on the 4th of January 2010 and it's going to be quite a bit release. MVM are one of the only companies who release Japanese anime in the UK and they've built quite a good reputation in the last few years. Japanese anime is always good for a laugh but sometimes the story lines can be a bit boring.
What's cool about this series is that it really builds up the characters and it's not long before you're hooked. However, I will say that it's not for everyone. Most anime series' are very light hearted and fun. Whereas Fate Stay Night is a little more dramatic and is certainly more adventurous.
It'll be rated 15 as well which means that anyone under 15 will be too young to watch it due to violence and the story line, I believe. The first DVD release will include the first four episodes: The First Day; Fateful Night; Opening Act; The Strongest Enemy.
For people who love this sort of thing, it's certainly a great DVD and really worth the purchase. However, if you're not into anime then it's a good idea to avoid this release. MVM are one of the only companies who release DVDs of this nature in the UK and for that reason it's anime at it's best.
The original story is based on the Japanese visual novel game of the same name and is actually a really intense story that gets you very involved. So, if anime is your scene and you like this sort of thing then this DVD will really get you going. Fate Stay Night isn't for everyone though so beware. - 23815
