By Sonia Francis

Superb information about some of the most magnificent movies that you may have never heard of is right here. Get a kick out of this list of films that are golden oldies. Bear in mind that you can download any of them you select directly to your own computer in the convenience of your own residence.

The Reward was released in 1965. Promising premise and great cast led astray in stagnant Western - group of reward hunters turn on each other, as greediness for bigger share of prize money motivates them into conflict. Cast includes Max von Sydow, Yvette Mimieux, Efrem Zimbalist, Gilbert Roland, Emilio Fernandez, Henry Silva, and Rodolfo Acosta.

Alias Jesse James came out 1959. One of Hope's funniest has him an insurance sales associate out West, mistaken for a sharpshooter. Fleming is a lovely Western belle, and the 2 do a cute melody together. Cast includes Bob Wish, Rhonda Fleming, Wendell Corey, Jim Davis, and Gloria Talbott.

Singles hit the theaters in 1992. Life in the Seattle dating scene is not simple. Energetic comedy drama with some likable performances (particularly by Scott and Sedgwick), though by no means as enlightening as you want it to be. Film has music, setting, and fashion galore, though additionally a rather unreliable script. Cast includes Bridget Fonda, Matt Dillon, Campbell Scott, Kyra Sedgwick, Sheila Kelley, Jim True-Frost, Bill Pullman, James Le Gros, Devon Raymond, Camilo Gallardo, Ally Walker, Jeremy Piven, Paul Giamatti, and Tim Burton.

1997 was the year that The Leading Man came out. British backstage show romance in regards to an American film superstar who seduces a playwright's unhappy spouse and his leading-woman mistress. When it might not make up its mind whether it's a comedy tirade or a light thriller, it is still enormously hilarious stuff. Bon Jovi is excellent as the impetuous, unscrupulous Yankee, and Galiena and Newton are fetching as the females snared in his web. Cast includes Jon Bon Jovi, Anna Galiena, Lambert Wilson, Thandie Newton, Barry Humphries, and David Warner.

Belles on Their Toes was released in 1952. Here, Myrna Loy is cast as a widowed architect who will struggle to bring up her aging brood. 20th Century Fox back lot seen at its best in recollecting early 1900s America. Clifton Webb makes a short appearance at the end. Cast includes Myrna Loy, Jeanne Crain, Debra Paget, Jeffrey Hunter, Edward Arnold, Hoagy Carmichael, Barbara Bates, Robert Arthur, Verna Felton, and Martin Milner.

Aladdin hit screens in 1992. Disney's animated Arabian Days storyline is refined through the sensibility of an old Warner Bros. animation, as Aladdin summons up a Genie who's exploding with chatter. Williams' comedic fast fire shtick forms the centerpiece of this otherwise conventional tale, colorfully (and tunefully) shown. Cast includes Voices of Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Frank Welker, Gilbert Gottfried, Douglas Seale and the harmonizing voices of Brad Kand and Lea Salonga.

1953 was the year for South Sea Women. Dark isle tale of love and deception with Cadet Lancaster kindling the fire with Mayo. Cast includes Burt Lancaster, Virginia Mayo, Chuck Connors, Arthur Guards, and Paul Burke.

Nutcracker the Motion Picture came out in 1986. Much of this interpretation of The Nutcracker, acted by the Pacific Norhtwest Ballet, is like a music video with rapid cutting and close-ups of legs, faces, and elbows. This is extremely annoying. However the Tchaikovsky music is, obviously, amazing, as are Maurice Sendak's sets and costumes. Cast includes Hugh Bigney, Vanessa Sharp, Patricia Barker, Wade Walthall, Russell Burnett, and the voice of Julie Harris.

For Love of Ivy came out in 1968. A family unit wishes to hang on to their servant, so they find her a man to keep her happy. The motion picture is a ho-hum black romance at best. Cast includes Sidney Poitier, Abbey Lincoln, Guy Bridges, Leon Bibb, Nan, Martin, Lauri Peters, and Carroll O'Connor. - 23815
