With the LG BD 370 network blu ray disc player, not only can you watch blu ray discs but also you can also watch movies and media from your favorite on line providers such as NetFlix. This is one of the second generation BD blu ray players.

The BD370 was designed in black and silver with a sleek sporty design elements. Doors that fold down hide the disc slot and the control buttons of the player. The only slight drawback in the design is the angled power and eject buttons on the middle silver button of the player console. A built in USB slot allows you to view your MP3 and JPEG files directly from the machine.

This player, the LG BD 370, includes outputs for the majority of audio and video on the rear panel. Included are coax and optical digital sound outputs for connecting to your 5.1 stereo system decoder. For the audiophile, 7.1 surround sound connectors are available. And for people with older stereo systems, 2 channel stereo outputs were included. The major video outputs are component video, HDMI output for an excellent picture, and coaxial video for older television sets.

The LG BD 370 player is a network ready player with built in ethernet port. This means that you can get firmware updates directly from the internet without having to put in a disc or wait on a disc to be sent to you. It is also completely network ready to play your favorite movies from the internet. Out of the box it is ready to play NetFlix, NetCast, CinemaNow, and You Tube videos. The BD 370 comes with an ethernet port. An ethernet port is included as part of the connectors on the back of the dvd player.

It will also do a good job of up converting your DVDs as you play them as well. This means that you will see your high definition movies in all of their vibrant color and definition.
