Reality Associated With Autobots In Transformers 2
Autobots are sentient robots of the planet Cybertron in the fictional universe of the Transformers. The fictional universe consists of cartoons, novels, books, toys and movies. The first of this kind of movie was released in 1984, but the real - and more advanced - version of it was released in 2007 with name 'Transformers', and it was directed by Michael Bay and executively produced by Steven Spielberg.
The subsequent adaptation of the movie is yet to be released this summer in June. The movie is called 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' and is anxiously awaited by movie lovers worldwide.
Autobots and Decepticons are two robots that can transform into machines. The movie shows the battle between these two creatures on the planet earth. Autobots can be distinguished from Decepticons from the colour of their eyes; their eye colour is blue. Autobots can transform into civilian vehicles, some military vehicles, and aircrafts. Autobots are humanitarian, and always have human military support. They value human life and are human saviours by nature. Let's look at the Autobots featured in Transformers 2.
Optimus Prime is the head of Autobots and is uttered by Peter Cullen. Once more in this movie you will notice him as a blue Peterbilt truck with red flame decals.
Bumblebee is the Autobot who befriended Sam in the previous movie. He is voiced by Mark Ryan. He came to earth and transformed into a fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro. As previously, he still uses sound bites to express his feelings and to heal others. Sam can't take Bumblebee to college as the newcomers are not allowed to have cars on campus, so Sam is compelled to house him in his home garage.
Ironhide is an Autobot who is the arms consultant. Ironhide can convert into a GMC Topkick, and is articulated by Jess Harnell. Ratchet Autobot is an Army medical officer who can change into seek and save Hummer H2. He is voiced by Robert Foxworth. Jetfire is a former Decepticon who has the potentials to transform into SR-71 Blackbird. He is voiced by John Turturro. He has preferred to be converted into an Autobot because of his wounds and age. In the Transformers Armada series he was combined with Optimus and due to this Optimus acquired the skill to fly.
Made up of three separate robots, Arcee is a female combiner. She can alter into motorcycles. According to the novelisation, in the toys of Arcee, she has a diverse temperament and nature for each character bike. Arcee was not seen in the first film because of the concern over its tiny size when compared to the other robots. Skids and Mudflap are Autobots that can transform into Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Trax respectively. The two have complementary personalities. Mudflap is restless while Skids acts if he is grown-up but appears unable to keep silent.
Sideswipe Autobot can transform into a Chevrolet Corvette. Jolt Autobot can transform into a Chevrolet Volt, which is an electric car. Jolt was by no means in the film until it was promoted because General Motors sought to sponsor this car. Wheelie was also a Decepticon, but he was scared from them and joined the Autobots. - 23815
