I-Pods And Their Versatility In Displaying Media
The way we listen to music has been revolutionised by the I-pod. The CD (which is almost old-fashion by comparison) is slowly being phased out by the music download in mp3 format.
Although Cd's are still being sold by the millions every week, they will usually only be used once to copy the contents onto that persons I-pod, and then will probably sit on a rack, doomed to dust-gathering redundancy forevermore.
Although there were other mp3 player before the I-pod revolution, they were nowhere near as successful as the I-pod, one of which belongs to most of the music-listening world, which is pretty much everyone in the physical world.
You could argue that the reason for this is that the I-pod has better functionality and a far more user-friendly interface than other mp3 players that came previously. I would say that this a fair argument to make.
The previous mp3 players, if they had a display screen at all, only had a tiny one which could not hold a great deal of information. However, the I-pod has a comparatively huge display screen allowing it to display ample information, viewable with a quick glance.
There is also a touch pad on the I-pod, which not only offers greater ease-of-use, but (particularly when it first came out) it was something the users had not seen before, or at least seen very little of, and therefore was something new and interesting.
Another selling point for the I-pod is its versatility. Not only does it play music, but also videos, pictures and even games on the newer versions.
So for a great all-in-one way to store and listen to all your favourite music, watch video clips you love, or just to pass the time with some great games, an I-pod is the solution. - 23815
