Hoppity Goes to Town: Delightful excited characteristic in regards to occupants of worm-ville and their assorted complications living in a human world, and bullied by villainous C. Bagley Beetle. Excellent-looking however uncompelling tale. (77 minutes, 1941)

Reptilicus: The tail of a prehistoric beast, recently found, spawns into the whole animal. Only excellent for a few laughs as script hits every possible beast film stereotype, right to the very last shot. The picture was filmed in Denmark. Cast includes Carl Ottosen, Ann Smyrner, Mimi Heinrich, Asbjom Andersen, and Marla Behrens. (90 minutes, 1962)

Sense and Sensibility: Lucid, modern-day look at Jane Austen's novel in reference to 2 recently impoverished siblings one impulsive and flirtatious, the other persistently hindered and made to suppress her sensations of love. Impeccably cast and acted, a vigorous and moving film dealing with how dissimilar identities handled them in early 19th-century England. Thompson won an Oscar for Best Screenplay Adaptation. The Age of Innocence: In 1870s NY, welI-bred youthful guy (DayLewis), who plans to wed well bred youthful female (Ryder), is infatuated by infamous beauty (Pfeiffer) with a notorious background and a self sufficient soul. Sumptuous adaptation of Edith Wharton's Pulitzer Prize novel in reference to censored sentiments in a close minded world. Cast includes Daniel DayLewis, Michelle Pfeiffer, Winona Ryder, Richard E. Grant, Alec McCowen, Geraldine Chaplin, Mary Beth Hurt, Miriam Margolyes, Sian Phillips,' Michael Gough, Alexis Smith, Norman Lloyd, Jonathan Pryce, Robert Sean Leonard, and Carolyn Farina depicted by Joanne Woodward. (133 minutes, 1993)

Dragonfly: An ER doctor, mourning for his lifeless spouse, acquires a succession of signals from her-containing messages from youthful subjects who've had near-death experiences. What do they mean? More drawn out than it needs to be, although a captivating and abnormal tale of one guy's metaphysical odyssey. Cast includes Kevin Costner, Kathy Bates, Joe Morton, Ron Rifkin, Linda Seek, Susanna Thompson, Jacob Vargas, Jay Thomas, and Matt Craven. (103 minutes, 2002)
