Hocus Pocus: A man in Salem summons up 3 long-departed witches who could only maintain their selves by sucking the life out of youngsters. Somebody positively sucked the humor out of this ghoulish, outcomes-full concoction. Cast includes Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Omri Katz, Thora Birch, Vinessa Shaw, Amanda Shepherd, and Tobias Jelinek. (95 minutes, 1983)
Curly Sue: Destitute con performer and his adopted waif parasite onto a tightly wound plate of a lawyer. She, in turn decides that this 4-flushing couple is just what she needs to improve her life.
